I'm curious to understand what people, especially women, on the board here think about this book, especially considering the fact that it contains naked pictures of (omg) children, teenagers, and onwards.
Exploitive? Purient? Pornographic? Worse, child-pornographic? Lewd? Obscene?
Or not?
Quote:
The Century Project, by photographer Frank Cordelle, is a chronological series of nude photographic portraits of more than one hundred women and girls from the moment of birth to nearly a hundred years of age. A diverse group of photographs comprising women of many ages, shapes, sizes, and life experiences is presented in this exquisitely disarming project. Most of the images are accompanied by moving statements written by the women themselves.

Personally, this sounds like one of the most inspiring works of photography I've ever heard of, not to mention the most ambitious. I'm planning on buy a copy each for my sister, mother, girlfriend, and grandmother.
