One thing I would add to this:
You ALWAYS have a choice. You are never trapped. Consequences may occur...but you don't have to do anything, and you don't every have to stay stuck.

Indeed - and in addidtion to what you said, "not doing anything" or being "helpless" is in itself, a choice. |
