Toy poodles are mean, yappy little shits. Actual poodles are mean, ferocious animals. People don't realize it normally but poodles are a hunting breed. That's where the fur style comes from. Fundamentally, whether a dog comes out viscious or not has much more to do with how the dog is raised than how the dog was bred (correlation of ~ .4 to genetics, meaning 40% of the behavior is genetic). It's just that people who buy a doberman usually want an aggressive animal.
