 What Anime are you watching now??As the subject implies, I'm wondering what anime you people are watching. Are you watching any classics, or are you watching any new ones that you can recommend?

i'm actually re-watching ZZ Gundam... its a slight comedy compared to other gundam series.. best to watch Z Gundam first though if u want to get the full story...

I haven't started GitS:SAC yet, but I am currently watching Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Grappler Baki, and Tekkaman Blade. My brother has also moved on to Scrapped Princess, Chrno Crusade, Shadow Skill, and GitS:2ndGIG, but I'll catch up to him eventually. I just have more important things to do on the computer, while all he does is watch anime while downloading more. I don't have that kind of time, dammit!

On DVD:
Azumanga Daioh - Haven't bought it, but I definitely will. I need to justify hanging on to all the fansubs. Galaxy Angel - It's not Art by any standard, but it's a fun show and easy on the eyes. I got the game too, and it's also good fun (Sakura Taisen 3 was better though). Fansubbed: Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Seikai (sp?) - Interesting show; seems like GAINAX recycled some of the themes of Eva into this one, although the overall feel of the show is very different. Sensei no Ojikan - A lot of people have labelled this an Azuclone; it's not quite the same, although the resemblance is clearly not completely unintentional. Still, it's good stuff. |
