Here is a poll because I've had entirely too much gin. It isn't my fault though. Whoever left it in the freezer should have been more responsible with their liquor.

I would wait to start worrying until your freezer starts looking like Misato's fridge^_^ one bottle of gin (or rum or whisky or whatnot) does not an alchoholic make.

If this was a nightly or even weekly occurance, I would raise an eyebrow. The fact is, sometimes doing stuff by yourself can be cool. And yes; drinking is one of them. Why, I'm doing that right now! Especially if it was Bombay Sapphire, I would give my blessings.

As a serious response, alcoholism is really determined by the consequences. If you start spending extraordinary amounts of money on liquor or ignoring your responsibilities to drink, you've become an alcoholic.
