I had one week scheduled for December. Lo and behold, my sergeant came up to me and told me that I had an additional two weeks of vacation that they had to give me or else, and that I would be taking three weeks off this month. I'm off from now until Christmas. w00t! And who said the bosses couldn't be generous if you hold their feet to the coals? _________________ "Charlie was a policeman, Nick-san. On this project we were told "We will work as much as possible. Max Overtime. Only X-Mas would we get off." I was cool with this, but then, the guy flipflopped due to pressure from the managers. I get what amounts to comp time, but they call it "holiday time" to dodge the labor laws. Christmas Eve Night, Boxing Day Night, Christmas Night and (sadly) New Years Eve Night (NY Day early morning) Each day was worth about 300-400 bucks. Can't complain.
