So I'm thinking of writing PSDF again.
God help me.
Because, frankly, I don't have time to really sit down and write the Great Canadian Novel, but I really need to write something.

Plans are to firmly avoid the Terran War, and write 4 fics;
End of the Terran War (2050)
Beginning of the Galactic War (2150-2200 or thereabouts)
End of the Galactic War and beginning of the Star Empire (2500ish)
End of the Star Empire and beginning of the Days of Freedom (3200ish)

I've always had the general plots for those, but I kept getting sidetracked, and then losing interest. I think it was probably because I was trying to write like Fiss; long but serially. That's a bad idea, because I'm not really a serial writer, I'm an epic writer; long, cohesive plot arcs connected by big blank spaces. I love to go back and fill the blank spaces in, but that's what distracts me.

So anyway, IS there any interest in reading PSDF stuff again? Is there any interest in writing PSDF fics for those gaps I don't get around to filling? I'm happy to provide canonization and history, of course.

Always been curious about how the Galactic War got rolling, especially how it might have mirrored the Terran war in some ways. Or, maybe even not at all.

Space battles are awesome.

Why yes it would be great if you wrote more stuff for PSDF, I have missed your works and I check weekly to see if you've posted anything on the site.

On another note (not to mention off topic) Why do I see your avatar gives me a much stronger image of suitablity than your picture on the psdf website?
