I've spent some time working on my music skills now, and I've produced a good number of songs.
Lately, I've produced a ten song set for the game mod Terradine for X3. The tracks are completely original.
I was thinking... Should I sell them as a disk completely unrelated to the mod project? I've spoken and given demos to a guy in the area that's told me he likes my 'sound'.
(Interesting story that. I got his email and gave him some of my music to demo... he came through drive-thrue at WORK the next day to tell me in person.)
The reason I wonder, is while creativity and production in itself is justified by the fact that one enjoys doing it... I also need to justify the fact that I live in my mother's house, wasting the day away while using her electricity, internet, and food/water. So I figure I can start building revinew and name for myself, open up oppertunities and such, I could eventually call this a job.
What say the denziens of WAR?
