I'm thinking the horible mash of all these ideas could be exactly what we're looking for. ^_^

Almost as twisted as the one I were into a looong time ago... EVA x Ranma 1/2 x Yu Yu Hakusho x X-Files, taking the "children of main characters" to new sickening heights. Last year, I was working on EVA x Kare-Kano x Mahou Tsukai Tai! x Card Captor Sakura. Of course this one went down the drain too...

Hell, I love twisted stories...and I'm all for crossovers...cause they make for some really twisted stuff...
....the trick is, they have to keep in mind that, unless it's the whole point of the story, the characters have got to have weak points...disadvantages to balance the advantages... (Example: Shinji has great luck and skill.... but... he's the biggest introvert ever)

Now I've seen some twisted stuff, though... coming to mind is that huge SI Multiverse Ranma cross... "Insertion"... I liked it... wish it was finished...but many people hated it...claimed it went too far.... hell, for what it was meant to do, it did it damn well...

...that'd be really great to see some good twisted work come out of a roundrobin here...heh... I'm all for that...

Well the gates of...Insanity, I guess...have been opened. Sounds like fun, and I'm pretty much open to anything.

Having just finished all 38 Ramna 1/2 books I can safely say

ahm... The ending was a little disappointing, but to cross it with Eva... some interesting possibilities come to mind.

The Eva roared in bloody triumph as it burst from it's cage. It looked around. Blinked.

As far as she remembered, a red Eiffel tower was not part of Tokyo-3. She stared down from the top of a mountain upon the city of Tokyo, a city that should be little more than a drowned, radioactive crater. The large sweat drop developing on the side of her head finally unbalanced the massive biomech, making it collapse backward into a handy dam. Her last thought resonated though the merged souls, 'oh no, I'm in an Anime!'

Shinji woke up...

Light seemed Alien to him when he woke up again. The world shifting in a kind of strange kaleidoscope of sharp, off-colours even when his eyes were hardly open.

Shinji groaned as he felt the fatigue of the day in the Eva finally overtake his senses.

A harsh, deep feeling of drain expanded from every one of his bones outward, and yet, he knew if he fell asleep again in this dirty LCL, he would not wake again. He struggled with the ejection handle. Again and again, he tugged on it with all his might. Finally, as if the Entry Plug had a final bit of pity in store for the young Ikari, he felt a sudden rush of liquid around him as the world shifted and moved.

The plug did not jet away. He could feel the sudden jolt as it spun and stopped upright. The hazy LCL floated in front of his face as he used the last of his strength to hit another button on instinct.

Just before he lost consciousness again, he saw daylight crack over him and the plug's door explode open.

Had the other Tokyo been a dream?

Rei Hino's eyes flew open. She was sitting in front of the temple fire, in a deep and silent meditation. The fire was very low - dawn's first light was just coming over the temple grounds.

She was shaking. The images of her trance faded, leaving behind an impression of a pale frown, and... wrongness. Something was very wrong, with everything. She could feel it even now, in the air, in her skin, her bones.

Something had happened, and for the first time in a very long time, Rei was afraid.

She ran to the phone.

(just tossing an idea out here - could some "Millenium Silver Crystal" type thing power an Eva, kinda like an s2 engine? just a thought...)
