Do you write fanfiction? Are you a Rei fan? Do you study Evangelion in-depth? How far would you go to defend Rei? Her relationships? Her ideas and statements?

Do you have what it takes to co-write a fake forum for the masses?

WTF?

I'll tell, you.

Presenting a fanfiction project the first of it's kind! I'll need only the smartest most intuitive Rei fan to combat me.

The idea is simple; consider a talk show consisting of a Rei fan and an Asuka fan hammering out the complexities and eccentricities of the Evangelion phenomenon. Using real topics brought up by real fans, the two hosts begin to deconstuct EVA. The debate will start out smooth, sure, but will get more heated as the hosts' views are threatened. Insults begin to manifest out of nowhere and without much to say, finally, a fist fight. FIN

The project will be co-written. I am the Asuka fan and perhaps someone can step up to defend Rei's side. The draft is volleyed between the two writers until we have a decent episode (15-20 pages minimum). Either can chose a topic to base the debate on. When the episode is finished, we post on Fanfiction.net and let the reviews flow to our inbox.

It's an excellent opportunity to get the candid perspective of fans of the series onto paper. Any EVA fan could identify with it.

But, are you FAN enough?

Post in this thread to keep it at the top of the page and mail me if you're the FAN to do the job.

I'll have to see if my sister, Hooze, has time to read this. She may want to step on up. While I'm not a Rei fan, she does an EXCELLENT job representing the blue-haired Eva-girl in fanfiction.

I suppose I could do it, but I'm biased as an Asuka fan. :P

I mean no offense, Fiss-sama, but "biased" doesn't begin to describe it....

Well, it depends on which Rei we're talking about here. ^_^ But I'm sure we all know which Rei Fiss is biased towards. ^_^

I've had a few e-mails (three is a few) from people who want to halp on Asuka's side.

Unfortunetly, the Asuka fan position is filled.

I don't really want to include more than one host for each side of the debate because the story might end up with a 'Batman and Robin' combo on each side; one always agreeing unconditionally with the other instead of backing up the message.

I like smart comedy. It would be funnier watching two philosiphers so full of themselves fall from grace. Occationally one would screw up and the other would see it as a moment of weakness; and within their minds we see the ego screaming, 'Gotcha Bitch!!!'

Of course, the idea is not to shatter our own credibility as philosiphers and make fun of ourselves. It's a tribute to the die hard fans who all share same boil on their butt; be it in writing or whatever.

*cough*Eroticdreaminvolvingasukaandgiantmushrooms*cough*
Though I'll admit I'm not totally pure- I once passed out during a D&D game I was running, and muttered something like "Oh, Asuka, your pert, sweet heiney" before I woke up. I felt terribly guilty afterward, given my longstanding obsession with Rei.
