Post Vicil's "Sword challenge" Profiles
If you've been keeping up with the Sword challenge boardfic under my name, in Strike Fiss' own personal section, then you'll understand what this is about.

As of now we have two god-mods, one zeropoint who may or may not be stronger, and one ref who has just begun to tap into his abilities... not quite there yet... as well as a colourful cast of stage crew and people who keep things going.

Well since just about everybody has revealed what they can do, I think you deserve to know a little about Adam.

Ever hear those miraculous stories of amazing feats of strength and wonder performed by humans? In the end we always forsake them because we've never really believe that such puny beings as ourselves could become legends... Yet for those of use who have always been on the recieving end of fate, they always believe that they could have done better; that the strength which with they fought was always never used with a full heart...

So if we were to let lose of everything and truely slide, what would we discover about ouselves? Perhaps that, as humans, we were never meant for anything but to die at the end; or that we had everything we needed to exist forever?

Since the beginning we have always been hindered... our minds were not ready to show us how amazing we really are, but when they finally awoke we realized that we did have the strength, the speed, the force to make our dreams come true...

Adam's Skills: Adam is a master of the universe, you could say. He posesses the ability to command the 'energy of the universe' using his 'will.' This ability allows him to conform the laws of nature to do his bidding. He can manipulate gravity to fly, as well as amplify his fighting power. He also has created two unique techniques which he uses on rare occations.

Nova: Adam draws energy from his environment into a focal point, creating a tiny star. When the core collapses, the star explodes and engulfs matter in all directions; but if he choses, he can open a channel through which the energy can escape as a 'beam' focused into one direction.

Flare: This skill is far more dangerous, not only to its target, but to reality itself. Instead of drawing energy from his surroundings, Adam uses his skills on a sub-molecular level to break atoms, creating the force of a non-nuclear bomb. (***The nature of nuclear explosions is to cause a chain reaction which destroyes the atoms surrounding it, meaning that with continued usage of this type of energy, space itself would begin to collapse.***)

These techniques don't cause him fatigue since he isn't expending any of his own strength. His skill with these energies also allows him to rearrange matter on a sub-molecular level, which lets him create new compouds like the indestructable metal sphere he travels with, or explosives which he can place anywhere, or even food.

Anyone can have the same powers as Adam, and even Adam is contiuously evolving, so he may learn even better techniques to use the energy of the universe.

While this is speculation, it's roumored that Adam has died on several occations, yet he is always found alive in a corner of the galaxy on some alien world, perhaps in hiding? Or maybe playing hide-and-seek? Or maybe up to something of his own designs...

Interesting character... sounds like he's evolved into a class 7 Chaos Being from a regular human. Tough to do. I applaud his strength...

As for me... I have ATC, and Tigerclaw going... ATC's just this message board's version of my derranged personality combined with Tigerclaw's power... Not a real threat, as he's the humorous one.

TIGERCLAW: ... Perhaps I should post the Complete background history of Zeropoint....

-- ---------
The COMPLETE history of the realms of Zeropoint.

Chapter One: Mirror Universes.

Upon the creation of the universe, it was split into twin realms. Both with very similar, yet fantastically different histories and timelines. One world contains everything Tigerclaw is familliar with, such as Galaxy Command. Its history runs similar to Earth save for the fact that Magical Science established itself far better. Technology also advanced at a faster pace in this world, warranting Earth to become a considerable spacefaring force. Strangly, Magic and Technology aren't mixed very well, leaving each side, lacking the augmentation of the other.

The other world, in which Tigerclaw travels to, is essentially Earth as we know it. History is the history we know, and Magic is all but unheard of on Earth itself, which has no contact with outside races.

These are not parralelle universes, but linked universes.

Chapter Two: The Foundations of the Classes.

Beings are separated into classes based on their general ability characteristics. These classes aren't hardlined, but reprisent the generalized average of beings. Some beings might fit into two or even three to four classes, but usually classify for whichever they fit best.

CLASS 1 Entity: Normal (PC:1)
Mostly easy to understand as REGULAR PEOPLE, they have mild magical manipulation abilities, but only with extensive training. Under most conditions, they are mortal, and easy to injure,

CLASS 2 Sorcer-or/ess (PC: 2-3)
Powerful and adept beings that have natural skills in magical energy, they tend to be stronger and harder to kill than a natural human. Limitations and strain take their toll over time, but as long as they keep their strength up, they have no trouble with it.

CLASS 3 Angel or Demon (PC:1-4)
From weak to strong, this class varies widly in strength, but are highly magic sensitive. They have certain limits on their power levels, but can weild it freely. Depending on their MORAL character, one is either classified as Angel, or Demon. Demons tending to be the more frequent due to the ease it is to be evil. This also has the effect of POLARIZATION of this area of magic, making the opposite polarized magic highly effective in taking down its counterpart.

CLASS 4 GODS/GODDESSES (PC:4-5)
This class of being is known for having an unusual characteristic among beings. That, of natural immortality. Class 4s tend to have phenominal powers, and are capable of massive alterations of space and environment around them. Whether good or evil, they tend to be in charge of a situation wherever they go, and are revered on many worlds as the SUPREME beings of the universe. Because they can use massive amounts of power, almost nothing any lower class can throw at it has any real effect, thus increasing their stature. Although possessing massive energy, overexertion tires them out, and they often sleep for millenia when overexerted. They often need rest after any major energy weilding. Thus limiting their otherwise AWESOME status.

CLASS 5: Solarian (PC:5)
Solarians are EXTREMELY powerful in the ways of magic and energy manipulation. They tend to have excelent longevity although they lack outright immortality. Because they can tap active energy (those such as stars, planets, and other actively energetic objects) they tend to be more powerful and more readily refreshed than gods or goddesses. They tend to master COMPLEX magics that can effect things on a much smaller and more detailed level than Gods or goddesses, but tend to be unable to focus on very GRAND scale magics like gods or goddesses can achieve. The most famous group of Solarian entities are known as Star Warriors, a particular race of Solarians who formed over thousands of years, then began to die off.

CLASS 6 Zeropoint (PC:6)
Whatever caused the universe to create something this powerful is beyond research. A Zeropoint has the ability to tap PASSIVE ENERGY (Zeropoint) that actually exists within the fabric of spacetime ITSELF. This power is not restricted by the need to rest and reaccumulate as with the other classes, but simply IS THERE to be used. A zeropoint can master every magic there is simply by applying brute energy force to it until they figure it out. They tend to be unstoppable, able to crush armies without a thought, annihilating anything that angers them. Complex spells tend not to be in their use, as the sheer amount of power they have tends to make them not worry about getting creative with their abilities. Thus, most don't advance past plain beams, large explosions, and spatial shifting abilities their powers can easily manipulate, although a few more intuitive ones have advanced their skills. They can do interesting things to their bodies with their energy, from eliminating the need to breathe or eat, to being able to smash a mountain with a punch, the energy can be used to fortify themselves like many have done but to extremes boardering on the INSANE. Mortality amoung Zeropoints is interesting. Although their longevity pars with Solarians, many haven't lived past age thirty, victims of self destruction because they're more powerful than their own minds can sanely handle. Simply put, a zeropoint is something akin to a one man walking nuclear war, but even that is an understatement.

CLASS 7 Chaos Being (PC:4-5)
The entities exist on multiple plains of reality. They tend not to have any body unless required, which they then WILL into being. Killing one is next to impossible, as most of the time the body is merely an avatar for them. Most tend to get banished more than killed... Although they CAN be killed if you try hard enough, usually this requires a powerful enchanted artifact, most of the time coupled with a high class being's power. All chaos beings are paradoxical, as their very existance contradicts itself. They shouldn't exist, but they do. Much to the headache of others. Chaos beings share an overinflated ego, as the diffculty to kill them, and their ability to simply WILL things goes to their head, making them extremely benevolent and overbearing. Unfortunately, chaos beings have ZERO fine control of power, so they tend to just warp space and time, distort energy, and generally mess with physics, making the effects of their attacks completely unpredictable. On the plus side, they can't hit you with a ten million terraton nuclear blast like a Zeropoint could easily do. Chaos beings tend to claim to be gods, until the gods show up, and kick their ass with more focussed high dimensional powers.

CLASS 8: Spirits (PC: 1-5)
When strong willed entities, or entities with powers above class 2 are killed, sometimes their conciousness is strong enough that it remains in this realm after the destruction of the body. These entities have weak magical powers, but can possess other bodies if so needed. Some stronger ones can materialize important items, or pass on special magical ressonances (Powers, skills, etc) to a living being. They can be easily ousted by a burst of energy, and many are defeated simply by a peice of paper with the ressonant WILL of a person. (Evil spirits begone!)

POWER CLASSES: (PC:#)
Power or Magic, whichever you want, is a core level of strength measuring. It has six scales to make people understand the level of strength in magic entities have.

1: LOW Class Magic Adept
None to little power, A Joke most of the time.
Would rather avoid bullet, gets run over by locomotive.
2: SKILLED Class Magic Adept
Have magic, will travel.
Dodges bullets, is dragged behind locomotive...
3: STRONG Class Magic Adept
Takes care of themselves rather well, good for being the trump card to win a war.
AS FAST as a speeding bullet, loses tug-of-war with locomotive...
4: SUPREME(Or Super) Class Magic Adept
These guys remind you of the boss characters at the end of most video games, in other words, 'DAMN! We need to level up more!' They tend to fight the whole war. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive...
5: MASTER Class Magic Adept
Seeing one of these on the offensive gives you that same feeling as when on the beach when you see a tidal wave looming up... in other words 'OH SHIT!' They tend to BE the war. Catches bullets in teeth, chews them, smashes locomotive...
6: ABSOLUTE Class Magic Adept
This is the kind of person who thinks a nuclear explosion makes an EXCELENT tanning salon. Descibed best as a one man walking NUCLEAR war. Swats bullets like misquitos, uses locomotive for giant model train set, annihilates entire star systems if needed. Seeing one at work is like watching the earth from space for the first time, in other words... 'Wow... is this a dream?'

These beings, and their variations make up the inhabitants of the universe.

Chapter Three: The forging of the Zeropoint sword.

In ages past, long before the written history of Earth in Tigerclaw's realm. A powerful mage forged a sword. A Katana. This was the creation of Relic Buster. Tensai-Ken, the Horizon Blade. The forger, the mage, was actually a Zeropoint, one of FEW who learned to dissapline himself. Unfortunately he never truely discovered his full power, due to how magic was treated in concept at the time. When he forged the blade, he bent his will upon it to give it fantastic power. He sent so much will, that in effect, transfered a good sized portion of his power into the blade. Tensai-ken was a blade worthy of its legend as Relic Buster. Enchanted swords, indestructable weapons, all fell in one strike by a skilled swordsman. It earned its nickname quickly. And its creator a reputation.
Then came Nossmorvian, a powerful and feared demon. He sneared at the capabilities of a mere blade, and challenged the creator to battle. When the battle reached its peak, the blade unleashed the full maximum power in synch with its owner, and using the Deathstroke, struck down Nossmorvian. Unfortunately, without full knowledge of his powers, the man who created Tensai-ken, died of mortal injuries sustained in battle.

Chapter four: The birth of a nightmare.

Almost killed, Nossmorvian escaped the battle with severe injuries, now harboring a hatred for the power he had sensed. He swore he would DESTROY anything that ever came close to that power should he ever sense it again. But in his condition he couldn't do so. He needed to recover, or a normal man might be able to kill him. He came across a sorceror, Chrivon Hiravana, a man with nothing to lose, high ambition, and GREED. He tricked the man into thinking he would get power from Nossmorvian, only to show his true evil at the last moment. But the sorceror wasn't completely duped, in the final attempt, he modified the spell that was merging him into Nossmorvian, and altered it so they COMBINED into one. Both were gone, reborn as the foulest Demon of them all. Chrinoss. This demon harbored the memories of both man and demon, the ambition and greed of Chrivon, the hatred and brutal ruthlessness of Nossmorvian, and the power of both. He swore to destroy the powers that would challenge him, and started his quest to destroy and conquer all.

Chapter Five: The Galactic Star Warriors.

Many songs herald the work of the mighty Star Warriors, a race of Solarians known for their power. For thousands of years, they spread throughout the galaxy, doing their part to ensure good, and destroy evil. Ultimately however, such a rare group were bound to fail in the end. And after a few thousand years, dwindled to near extinction. The families that were left were no where near the mighty stature of their ancestral heights. And one by one, family by family, world by world. Chrinoss hunted them down and destroyed them. The final blow to strike, was a blow upon the Jupiter family, one of the more well off Star Warrior groups that were left, and the ONLY ones left. But they knew how to fight. The battle lasted days, and destoyed a continent, but in the end, Chrinoss killed off the parents. The children, however, were strong for their age. And the female injured him badly before he could kill her. But her brother, enraged by this, almost killed Chrinoss, who had yet to have been defeated by anyone. He fled, swearing to finish what he began, and to destroy the one man who now held the title, Jupiter Star Warrior.

Chapter Six: Empire of Stars.

Jupiter Star Warrior, after the battle, swore revenge on his dead family, and would pledge to chase Chrinoss throughout the cosmos to destroy him. He formed a spacefaring company at that early time in space travel, called Stars Inc. to start building himself a foundation from which to launch a campaign against Chrinoss. But over time, the company grew into a stellar power, and into a makeshift Empire. JSW was now responsible for juggling a galaxy of planets and the populations had to be protected. Stars Inc prospered, and JSW's pledge was soon shoved to the far corners of his mind. A period of two thousand years past, many normal people were surprised with JSW for living as long, but soon came to understand him as a force which could be trusted. He trained himself, gained skill, and became one of the most feirce warriors ever. Feared by many a foe.

Chapter Seven: GALAXY COMMAND

While JSW was creating a powerful stellar empire, Earth was advancing into the space age, gaining its own momentum to catch up with the rest of the Galaxy. Soon it became a great need for the seperated countries of the planet to unite and join the cosmos as EARTH. This small planet near the edge of the galaxy was quaint, very friendly in environment, and generaly enjoyed by almost any being that breathed oxygen. Earth gained political power in the cosmos, but never secured itself at the top. However, as empires fueded and broke down, alliances came and went, and mergers oversweapt all, a powerful policial force pushed for another great uniting. Soon, Galaxy Command was formed. Unfortunately, although influential, its military power was not capable of handling the sheer VASTNESS of space, and soon pirates, mini-wars, and other nasty problems were cropping up. Wherever Galaxy Command could get to first, was handled, but only just barely. What began as an overstretch to begin with, turned into a decay of power as more and more problems couldn't be handled by the Command. Something would be needed to jumpstart them in the right direction.

Chapter Eight: The Legendary Class Six.

In a small town, in a quaint area, on earth... a child was born. And for fifteen years, seemed like any other child on earth. But he was radically different. He seemed weak, but was in fact, stronger, faster, and smarter than anyone else ten years older than himself. His name was Thomas Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. His passive abilities were always noted by people, but none ever truely noticed what he was really unleashing from time to time. Those beings of higher classes, could sense fantastic powers that had not been felt in millenia coming from the earth. Powers that made space itself shudder. Chrinoss still had his hatred of this kind of power, and when he sensed it, knew that to beat such a power, he must strike it early. He located and attack Thomas, who was aided by his defending parents. Against Chrinoss, mere humans were no match, and were tossed asside easily. But Chrinoss found out, that the adolescent emotions of a human were something which was poorly balanced. Thomas was enraged to see his parents hurt, even slightly, and he exploded, literally. In one strong emotional burst, he unleashed sixty megatons of explosive energy right in Chrinoss' face. Chrinoss was sure now that something that could have anything like that power so early with no training must surely be the being he'd been dreading. An unstoppable class Six being. He retreated, hoping the class six would destroy himself with his own power. However, Thomas calmed down and realized the devestation around him. His home town, destroyed. Everything within blocks, annihilated. His parents, nothing, gone, dead. Vaporized instantly by his energy. He fled...

Chapter Nine: Control
Thomas fled far away, and investigations into the destruction of the city yeilded nothing to investigators. They labeled it a failure of someone's illegal antimatter containment. In the meantime, Thomas stumbled across an old Japanese style shrine and Dojo, headed by Shin Kitsune. The old man sensed the trouble the boy before him had, and pledged to turn this distraught person, into a warrior with dissapline and control. Thomas devoted himself to this training, and in three years, mastered everything Shin threw at him. Thomas learned his power, learned to focus and crontrol it, and studied legend until he learned what he was fully capable of being. The truth shocked him, and he vowed to control his power like no other.

Chapter Ten: Rise to Power.

Thomas left temple where he learned, and joined Galaxy Command's Fleet Academy. He learned many sciences, and learned more about ancient magics through study. He assumed the name TIGERCLAW, and began his career. He graduated and became a captain, and was a powerful commander, on an otherwise impotent small ship. As he progressed, his name and stature grew. He won every sorty, and completed every mission. Sometimes his ship would come back barly floating, and many wondered what really happened out in the cosmos. Soon rumors of him, destroying pirate fleets with a wave of his hand, and fighting hundreds of opponents on his own. One of the biggest was that he stopped a whole war on a planet by annihilating both sides of the conflict. In reality, he was retrieving a teddybear from one of those generals for a girl who had been upset by its theft. It was later revealed that she was a Goddess being called Megumi. Thus began her chase for Tigerclaw.
Tigerclaw's astounding success in Galaxy Command amidst the entire organizations complete failure to handle situations propelled him up the ranks. Within five years, he made the rank of Admiral. A feat that had never been seen. His name was known by pirates everywhere. Many times they tried to wipe him out, and every time, they pounced on a ship, and found that it was not the ship to defeat them, but one lone intruder onboard annihilating them. Finally, Tigerclaw, under unanimous vote of the Galaxy Command grand council, was given the astounding position of Fleet Admiral. In gaining this position, he took over command of the fleet from direct control of the council, and was now head of Galaxy Command's spaceforces. Improvements in fleet operations then began. Within months, the fleet was over one-hundred percent more effective in its operations, and power. Then Tigerclaw revealed his greatest work. He had secretly gotten position as Chairman of Satyrntron industries during his time as fleet commander, and had constructed a vessel based on so many untested Ideas and systems, that the whole thing was a gamble. The biggest being its power source, the Zeropoint reactor. But somehow, Tigerclaw assured the engineers this wisecrack plan would work, And it did. The GALAXIUS class battlecruiser went into dire combat odds, and came out unscathed, outran, outgunned, and outperformed ANYTHING else the fleet had to offer. Admiral Tigerclaw was at the height of his power. However all was not well.

Chapter Eleven: Doubt

Among Tigerclaw's fantastic successes, he was faced over and over with either using his power, or letting everyone near him die a horrible death in a fireball. He began to doubt his own morality in his actions as he gained more and more control of the workings of such vast organizations. With so much prestige and power, he began to realize that more and more of Galaxy Command and in fact, the Galaxy at large, was indeed, resting upon his every action. More and more he realized that any wrong move on his part, could kill thousands, or even millions. So he began second guessing himself, getting more stern, more calculating. He improved himself, taught himself more and more of every available knowledge and resource he could get. His margin for error continued to dwindle. Although his crews never got wind of it, he began to berate himself for mistakes. Every mistake he saw, was his OWN. He became more and more stressed, every error making him more tense and uptight. People began to say that when he was in command, he seemed like a totally different person than the guy they chatted with in the lounge the day before. Even the little things began to eat at him. Everyone started to suspect that at any moment, he could reach his limit, like a bowstring with a nuclear tipped arrow. Then a mission came down from the council about a planet in the durisdiction of Stars Inc. Tigerclaw trusted only himself to walk the fine line of policital care, and military caution. In his own ship, he left to check things out. The incident was one of the closest calls ever seen in Galaxy Command. The flagship of Stars Inc, the Jupiter, arrived to a distress signal and in a mistake, engaged Galaxius in combat. It was a short engagement, the destruction of Jupiter first and foremost to be noted. Afterwards, it was discovered that it was a complex mistake that both ships even went into combat. This result pushed Tigerclaw to the edge of his self-doubt. It was knifepoint, and everyone could sense Tigerclaw was at his breaking limit. If anything else screwed up, he'd surely lose his fantastic control.
Tigerclaw and JSW met in the Brigg of Galaxius, where the Star Warrior, who was upset at the loss of some of his crew, didn't see the dangerous bomb that Tigerclaw was at the time. Being several thousand years old, JSW treated Tigerclaw as if he were a mere child, and was being a fool. Whatever the exact meaning was, it was all that was needed.
Tigerclaw snapped.

Chapter Twelve: The Ravage of Kikayla VII.

No one knew quite what happened within the six seconds between JSW's final comment, and their sudden dissappearance. Most people only know that an explosion nearly blew out a bulkhead and many were injured in the blast. In truth, JSW and Tigerclaw began fighting on his words, and that fight progressed into a battle upon the surface of a storm ravaged planet across the system. JSW unleashed anger buried for two thousand years, and Tigerclaw unleashed his own stresses upon JSW in a battle that could be detected on sensors of pirate ships a good distance from the system. When the battle reached its apex, JSW finally said one thing too much, and insulted the ONE single thing that Tigerclaw was most sensitive about. In one fantastic pulse, Tigerclaw summoned up his hidden power, and unleashed his energy. The power was felt by anything magic sensitive, and the energy was detected all the way from Earth. JSW could only stare in controled shock as Tigerclaw prepared to use an attack thought lost, with a weapon thought never created, with a power thought to be exagerated legend.
JSW survived the encounter, and upon realizing what had happened, Tigerclaw seemed to simply collapse where he was. According to JSW himself, Tigerclaw simply looked at his hand, then at JSW, and then, stood up, concentrated energy, and vanished.
No one knows where Tigerclaw went, but shortly after he dissappeared, JSW gave chase, and all parties involved vanshied from knowledge.

Tigerclaw merely put one note on the record, and gave JSW a message to log with Galaxy Command. It was a simple set of questions.

"Does Absolute Power Corrupt Absolutely? Or is it man's misunderstanding of it that drives them to corruption? Who is to say that those with power are doing the right thing? If someone has all the power, who's going to tell them when they're wrong?"
--------------

Tigerclaw's a being with power beyond anything comprehended. He can draw up as much energy has he needs, and his only limitation is his mind. His spectacular yet tramatic history leave him somewhat of a cool calculating type, not wanting to use the power he has, but having to anyway. His prestige is unsurpassed, his power is unmatched, and his sorrow is painful and burried. It takes a powerful ally, the kindness of friends, and that last dramatic call of 'do it or they all die' to unleash the fury of a Zeropoint. Welcome to the mind of the man known as Tigerclaw, confident in his command, but terrified of himself.

It takes skill to win, power to destroy, and wisdom to know when. Can he maintain the fine balance and keep from annihilating everything and everyone he knows and loves? Or is he doomed to The Fate of a Zeropoint?

That's so considerate that you gave Adam a slight 'one-up' in the classes; he is a bit cocky isn't he?

I really want this to be ON TV some day so I'm trying to give away as little as possible: just a hint of the groundwork and reasearch I'm doing.

I don't really like to use the word 'power' in referance to Adam's ability, I'm always thinking of just how much he would need in a physical world if humans really had these abilities.

With 80% of the brain still dormant we have yet to discover what these sleeping components actually do:

1) When we are scared or excited, the brain releases adrenaline to multiply our athletic ability. Maybe someday we can do that voluntarily.

2) What if there are other unknown chemicals the brain can porduce that can make us resist viruses with greater efficiency, so we almost never get sick? Or digest foor better (unlike me and my ulser). Or even Regenerate amputated body parts like lizards???

3) PK would probably come to us far into the distant future, but considering all the brain can do as we are NOW, such as calculating math, dreaming and imagining, and regulating our bodies everyday worries (which is one of the biggest things), PK would probably come to us at within the 20% - 30% range of activity leaving us hundreds of millions of years left to be 'finished.'

Our physical bodies in the end are nothing compared to the power of the universe all put together. Even if we could summon up the strength to lift a car, why would we want to when we could just will it into the air?

I don't think we would ever get stronger than the strength of 5 people. The power of the universe is more like a 'tool,' so it's not a specific 'power' he posesses; that's why I call them 'abilities' or 'skills' like some of us have skill with a pencil, or linguistic skills...

And we all know what people are like with enough destructive force at their disposal. I'm not revealing everything about Adam, but I will tell you he learned THAT lesson a long time ago.

Note: You may wonder why Adam doesn't use his skills to simply rack Fiss and tear him to shreads? Well, as I said, anyone can be like Adam. On some level the brain exercises this talent to manipulate the universe involuntarily, thus negating anything Adam can do, so if he wants to hurt someone, he has to do it himself, up close and personal... or with his Nova and Flare skills.

In the movie 'Akira' the doctor was trying to use chemicals to awaken the dormant areas of the brain, so the test subjects who has PK had immense difficulty keeping their powers in check. Adam's story is far into the future, and apparently he has no problem with it. In fact, the other day, I was thinking of throwing this concept in the direction of Katsuhiro, but I want all the credit for myself 'cause this will be bigger.

=====================================================
I also notice that your constructing the series rather well, but you need a 'clip show.' Every sereis has one, and most anime have them around EP 13, so do one of those next.

Wups, shoulda posted the character notes here instead of on the "Sword Challenge Notes" thread. Sorry 'bout that...

On that note, I'm gonna have to pack it in. Long watch last night, and I have to go in and do it again tonight...

Wow, pretty nice, but does my character fit into any of these classes??? hmmm.... well I will put down my character's stats and see if they amount to any class at all!

Name: Cerebus

Age: Unknown

Sex: Male (yes please)

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 88 kilos

wears: I'm not sure that really matters, but he wears tight black leathes pants and nylon shirt to match. He has on glareless goggles and chains binding his arm (well, mebe not). He wears gothic boots (yeah, we all know wut that looks like) and is bald, but has a PIN number on the back of his forehead and an encrypted passage on his back.

Powers: Let's see, he's psychokinetic, telekinetic, and pyrokinetic (my friend wanted that, not me). He taps into dark matter rather that zeropoint (dark matter is negative energy, which absorbs energy. It is mostly found in dark holes, inside the event horizon) and is telepathic. He is blind and mute, but uses his mind to see, and has elevated senses of hearing and smelling.

Special ability: Well, there ARE two. Before he became Cerebus, he discoverred the molecular motion, random noises that can store data in the atomic-level. He then implanted and stored his very own compositional data of himself and his memories into this sort of memory device which makes up the whole atmosphere. That way, whenever he is killed, the data is decrypted, copied, and extracted. This data can be inputed to the very molecules in the atmosphere, and they will then manipulate themselves to form another Cerebus, with the same memories prior to his death.

He is the closest thing to Immortal in the world.

His brain is also encased by polymer resin instead of fluid. Whenever an attack, physical or mental, is percieved or expected, the resin will form into a protective shield, deflecting attacks to the mind and absorbing hits to the head.

It's been awhile. I've discovered a new idea thanks to Vessicator and Tigerclaw, who inspired me to read up on physics.

Adam's ultimate attack: Fold - Adam collaborates with the energy of the universe to collapse the gravity in a contained area. This forces gravity to 'fold' over itself, creating a black hole / dark matter.

Black holes are notorious in studies of the universe. They are a vacuum so powerful that not even light can escape the pull. It is impossible to escape the pull of a black hole beyond the event horizon, for you would have to travel at the speed of light just to hover at the edge of the event horizon.

Black holes are a form of negative reality. They can be negated with enough positive energy. Unfortunetly, the force of dark matter can crush an object the size of a building smaller than a grain of sand, so it takes a LOT of energy to negate it. Theoretically, Adam can also dissolve the black hole by 'unfolding' the border that created it.

Only a master user of miracles can tame the destrucive power of dark matter. One must be in constant colaboration with one's enviroment not only to fold gravity, but also to control the flow of the force of dark matter, otherwise they are to be engulfed with the world around them.

And that's the value of team work.

Folding usually refers to the theoretical ability to 'fold' space over it self in order to travel the intervening distance instantaneously. It has virtually nothing to do with black holes.

But other than the name, I have to admit that black holes are virtually impossible to negate and make great final weapons. However, unless you want to work on a star system scale use naked singularities. They don't have an event horizon. No spegetification ect. Instead matter is simply crushed. Of course half the theories about them state that if you can actually get a naked singularity, the fabric of reality (space-time) would be destroyed and it wouldn't come into being. Hell the universe is supposed to collapse on itself to prevent it occurring.

Eh.

Yeah, ain't physics fun? Get's pretty srange after awhile, but it's a helluva lot more interesting than TV once you get to the good stuff.

I picture it like this. Imagine dipping your finger in a pond, it makes a ripple. But what if that ripple could be made to converge instead of expand? The edge would meet at the focal point and pass through itself.

Imagine that ripple represents gravity; reverse gravity to converge on itself. It would eventually create a focal point, like at the center of the earth. Gravity becomes much stronger at the focal point, so if the timing is bang-on, the energy would meet at the tiniest point in space, for a moment with an infinite variable. But then what happens?

Remember your high school trigonomerty? I remember that undefined numbers transcend both positive and negative integers. As the graph hits an undefined decible and passes by, it becomes negative. Now you see the graph being traced again from the negative half of the y-axis. Theoretically, this describes the nature of the birth of a black hole. When gravity converges on a focal point, could it possibly create a negative reality? Seeing it happen in nature would be amasing and Adam's PK could easily pull it off.

So take your 'Absolute Zero' and stuff it. Adam can negate that puny blast and STILL swallow you whole, Tigerclaw!!!

Just kidding, ATC. You're my bud, and Tigerclaw's pretty cool too.

My pocketbook knowledge of mathematics can explain just about all the mysteries of the universe to me. Ain't physics grand?

I just thought 'Fold' is a good name. By folding, I mean reversing the flow of gravity. From there, gravity would converge and create Dark Matter. 'Fold' is a rather subtle name, unlike the rest of his attacks 'Nova' and 'Flare;' producers give weak names to all of the strongest weapons in anime. I like 'Fold' but I suppose there are better names... 'Reversal' is a good name... 'Flip' is a good name.

Or if I were to choose a neame that describes the effect insead of the cause, 'Void,' 'Drop,' 'Bind (describe restraining the black hole until release)'

Or I could go for a flashy 'ultimate attack' title. 'Miracle,' 'Vortex,' 'Crush...'

Hi, I just wanted to see if my character, whom you have no doubt never heard of before, fits in anywhere. Nichael is in fact a human, what makes him special is that he has the potential to evolve (within his own life) into a, well not a god, rather, into an existence.
You see. Nichael in his final battle (the story is not yet written, just the idea) elevated himself to a god class power. However it was not: "oh wow, I have uber powers now" or even that in his pain and will he unlocked the power of his mind, rather it was that his soul and consciousness was ripped apart in order to release enough power to destroy his enemy. Only through the efforts of his friends were the shards of his soul prevented from dissipating.

Now this is where it gets interesting. With all the power that was released and the fragments of his soul, a new entity was born: RAGNAROK.

Ragnarok is an Existence unto itself. He (for lack of better word) destroyed Nicahel's enemy and brought a rebirth of all the dead universes. However he was still an infantile existence. It took the efforts of Nichael Friends to show Ragnarok how it came into existence.

Suffice it to say that Ragnarok was (grateful-ish).

Now, once an existence is created, it stays created. What Ragna... did was to give Nichael life once more, but in doing so, he Gave Nichael the potential to Evolve into an existence of his own within his own lifespan.

Nichael normally has the power to Generate and manipulate RADIANCE. Radiance is an overpower energy source that exists outside the multiverse. It is created from all the life and good actions ever taken and periodically allows (avatars) to be born. Nichael is not only one such avatar, rather he is THE AVATAR.

He can also engage Armour. The armour is though given form through energy. As such, he can condense the radiance into the radiant armour.

I?ll give you more when I get to it.

Cool idea. We ought to write a sword challenge to break him in. I'm itchin' for a chance to use the fold.

Does this mean I need to bring back Tigerclaw as ref, and ATC as sound booth commentator?

You can decide whether or not to make another cameo. All Sword Challenges are pending the approval of the creator of the avatar.
