Life Plans - suggestions appreciated!
So I figure I'm not a teenager anymore, should probably start making plans for my life. Here goes:
1) Well, I'm in my late 20's now. I figure I'll treat from now until I'm 30 as more or less my childhood, figuring out the functionality and limits of this body and brain as it finishes it's physical growth period.
2) From thirty years old to sixty I'll probably invest in education, acquiring a wide and deep understanding of the physical sciences (physics chemistry biologhy), history (classical, literature, etc), various systems of thought (Christian studies, comparative religions, philosophy (Critical Rationalism will probably be my primary interest), languages), and probably a good chunk of engineering, business studies, that sort of thing. The basic range of post-grad offerings.
3) Sixty to nintey I'll start a family, raise a couple kids, put my education to use, get a couple papers published, buy a parcel or two of land here and there, start a couple businesses.
4) Ninety till I'm about a hundred-twenty years old, after raising a family and all that other stuff I'll take a couple classes, go back to school for a bit, catch up with stuff. Travel, meet people, see the world.
5) Hundred-twenty till I'm a hundred-fifty years old I'll relax, have fun messing around with stuff, something casual like writing or painting, poetry and music.
6) Hundred-fifty till I'm about a hundred-eighty years old I'll adopt a couple kids to remember that perspective, might have a second-wife by that time. Probably take up board-games, clarinet, contribute writing and memories to whatever big "History of the late 21's Century" project is going on.
7) Hundred-eighty to two-hundred-ten years old I'll go out travelling again, keep a low profile, casual kinda thing.
8) Two-hundred-ten to two-hundred-forty I might write a quick auto-biography if I'm in the mood for it. Teaching might be fun for awhile, in some private capacity. Probably do a bit of painting, sculpture.
9) Two-hundred-forty to two-hundred-seventy I'll go back to school again, by that time I'll be horribly out of date. Catch up on my reading, see if there've been any decent videogames over the past two-hundred years that I've missed, if they're still called that.
By the time I'm around three-hundred years old I might start to get bored, but I doubt it. Hell, mastering the board game "Go" will take a couple dozen decades, let alone learning how to play any decent new music that comes along. Kung-fu too, probably take around a hundred years for me to be comfortable in any single style, then there's always stuff like ballroom dance or stuff like the tango, foxtrot etc that'd be fun to check out. Meeting new people, keeping track of 'em always keeps me interested.
Anyone else got any ideas for what's out there to keep my attention once I hit 300 years old? If it's possible, I'd be fun to clone myself as a set of twins and raise myself from birth, but that'd realistically only keep me fully committed for about 20 years.
So, anyone else?
What are your plans for the next couple years?
Any recomendations? I'm always on the lookout for new ideas to keep me interested.

I vote for sex with hookers. The fancy kind! Not those dinky ones you get at the dollar store or mall.

Eh, to get anything decent I gotta go to Vancouver, and to be honeset I don't have the cash for it at the moment. Later on I figure dating should take care of that 'hydraulic pressure' problem, so to speak.
Good point though, heh, I don't see myself ever getting bored with sex!

Well yeah, but that's the easy part - the trick is how to have fun with all the time.
One who feels boredom has no use for immortality.

As long as there's new anime being produced and new books being written, I doubt I'll ever be bored. And when that ceases, I'll just start making my own, until I inspire someone else to start again. So, who's got ideas for immortality?

Try and break every single world record... possibly several at once...
And I assume by the word Immortal being used... it means cant be killed by anything... Soooo... along that note... here are some other fun ideas...
Sleep with any and every woman you can... without risk of stds...
Start a war (or several)
Play with bombs
See if you can breath in the vacuum of space
Find the best heroin EVER, and shoot a lethal amount into your blood stream
Become a Gladiator in Rome
Run with the bulls in Spain
Swim in the Dead Sea (its called that for a reason)
Get some of the BEST alcohol and drink yourself into oblivion nightly for a year
Umm... I can think of more... but I'm lazy..

The nastier ones won't kill ya. They'll make you WISH you were dead. Invinicble, then go for it. Immortal just means you live longer to hate yourself for that one night in Cuba....

I was thinking more along the lines of ways to achieve immortality than ways to spend the time, but those are some good ideas. Personally I'm up for anything, including the somewhat spooky brain-living-in-a-jar of old sci-fi. As long as I can still read my books and enjoy my TV.

Do you particularly enjoy sunlight or holy effigies?
Cause' like I said, vampires are the way to go. Maybe a nice, attractive succubus?

No way. Robotic Body / Mind transfered into a computer. Then you only fear Bill Gate's technolust.

Write yourself out of existence but play a loophole in the timestream so that you never leave.
You live forever because you technically don't exist to DIE.
Or ignore me, it's one AM here.

Thought about that one, actually, but I realized that it would only be a copy of me that's existing. The real me still dies. Me and a few friends at work debated it for a while, and we decided the only real way to ensure immortality was to keep your brain and portions of your spinal column alive for eternity. anything less and the 'you' that you are still ceases to exist at some point.
But yeah, a vampire would work, must've missed that post last time through. I figure there's enough goths out there who wouldn't mind being vamp food as long as you didn't turn them accidently.

Heh, I don't know if anyone is familiar with the anime Blood+, but I wouldn't mind being a Chevalier. Immortal; strong and incredibly fast; no weakness to sunlight, silver, wooden stakes, or holy effigies; basically all the perks and none of the downsides.
