Theme songs
Okay what's everyone's theme song? Can be any song by any artist, from movie, TV Show, anime, or radio etc.
Mine?

Actually, mine is semi-original. It's a kinda half-assed hybrid blues - jazz fusion theme, with a weird-assed martial overlay, that I don't know how to write down, but it runs through my head sometimes...

Depends on my mood, frankly...
although more often than not it's Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries'....with the Dum diddy chorus from The Aquabats Theme thrown in for a bit of last minute boogieing.

Lately, it's been Matthew Good Band - Pledge Of Allegiance. Not only because I'm desperately trying to solidify (yeah, right...if that's even possible. ^_^) my political beliefs, but also because of:
-The bell chorus is amazing
-The guitar 'fluttering' in the second stanza is absolutely brilliant.
Not to mention a good ol' bit of never giving up. ^_^
"I won't let you down....Done lettin ya down...."
Very amazing song. And on that note, the next CD looks like it's going to be amazing. ^_^

I'm not to shoer about myself, maybe Freak by Silverchair but, thanks to a miss type in google, I found a song that has been forever since Rei's. Matthew Sweet's Evangeline. Listen to the words and you'll understand.
And thanks to a long summer with the Tomb Raider soundtrack I can't read NXE by the Eyrie crew without hearing it in my head.

My current one is the theme of Tigerclaw the Zeropoint. This being;
DISCHARGE by TWO MIX
I love the start up...
Starts with sound effects and an english female voice saying...
"Destination, Val-Monte Space cruiser, crossing a timepoint, NOW..."
Then the harp kicks in...
It warms up with a harp, brings in a background chorus to help escalate it, then the closed highhat kicks in combining with orchestra hits on a continues repeat climbing, then maxes out and goes hypertechno/orchestra.

My latest favorite song is "Steelgods of the Apocalypse" by Rhapsody. I'd never even heard of them before I downloaded a certain Street Fighter Alpha AMV. It's sort of prog-rock/hair-metal with a touch of video game-ish BGM and completely nonsensical lyrics. It suits me perfectly. Just makes me want to get up and dance. Or bust some heads. Maybe a little of both.

Hm. Well if I had to pick any one theme song for me, it would probably be the opening theme from the show Dark Angel. I never watched the show, but just ran into the mp3 on my friend's computer. It has the right mix of modern and ancient, and it just seemed to fit well.

I believe my theme song of sorts would be Chad Kroeger's Hero.

I have never picked a theme song for myself, though I have had one thrust upon me by the other people here, Fiss included. Voltaires "When you're Evil".

My themesong of the moment is "Anarchy in the U.K." by Megadeth.
"I am the Antichrist, I am an anarchist"

Is that a cover? 'Cause I thought it was a Sex Pistols song...

Yep, it is. The Sex Pistols, a good punk group, first did the song back in the 70's. But in my opinion, Megadeth's version has a harder edge.
Speaking of cover songs, I recently downloaded "Crazy Train" as done by Twisted Sister. 'Tis cool

For me, it depends.... right now, it's "Take me Baby", by Mickey B. (I'm getting into the mood to write some Initial D stuff), and "Eden", by Two Destination...

Yeah...that's your FREAKIN THEMESONG DAMMIT!
P.S....that, and you're EEEVIL!

well, since I doubt anyone knows this song, I'll put the lyrics up:
PLACE CALLED HOUSTON
Its a long way back from nothing
But that's just where we're coming from
A place called Houston on the map I can remember when
He picked us up just like water
You have to keep on drinking to go on living
To keep on living - Sometimes I wasn't thirsty at all
The day you realize that you already have
Everything that you ever wanted, you'll know
If a man can love enough he can save a million lives
And maybe his own -- If a man can love enough to give up his whole world
What he will receive in return will be so much more
Some lessons must be taught
With the blood and sweat of other men
And now that I have seen the fight that you've fought
Its my day to be that man
And I hope I may fight this as well
Waxwing's a good band--this basically sums up a lot of my philosophy on life (especially stanza three.)

Today...my theme songs are Futari no Ginza Sanchou Me from Bakaretsu Hunters (two people who are obviously not paying attention to each other while they sing) and Dancing Pompokolin by Captain Jack, DDR mix...because it makes even LESS sense than Futari no Ginza Sanchou Me.

Ah, listened to some stuff my brother has....
Linkin Park's "Figure 09" also sums up a lot of how I was, am, and feel. "Breaking The Habit".... it's the image song for a charecter in a fanfic I'm writing. ^_^

Depending on my mood, it'd probably be either Beethoven's 9th symphony (no, not the Ode to Joy, the entire symphony! Especially the first two movements...) or P.D.Q. Bach's oratorio "The Seasonings". ^_^

Never really had a theme song that describes me but the closest one I can think of is "I'm Just A Kid" by Simple Plan.
